Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What is the length requirement for the submitted papers?

Submissions should contain sufficient details for reviewers to understand the main contributions. If the final version of a paper exceeds 5 pages in length, the access pages will be charged at S$100 (approximately US$54 as at February 6, 2002) per page.

2. Are there any travel grants or financial assistance that I can obtain from the Conference?

The Conference has no funds for travel grants for conference participants.

It is not possible to waive, either completely or partially, registration fees for regular participants, since the conference relies on registration fees to defray various costs, such as venue rental and proceedings publication.

Full-time students may be granted a 50% reduction in the registration fee - please email a scanned image or fax the proof of your status as a full-time student (for example, a current student identification card that shows clearly that you are a full-time student, or a letter from the Head/Chair of your Department) to Prof. Charoensak Charayaphan, Finance Chair (email: ecchara@ntu.edu.sg; Fax: +65 6792 0415).
