Research Groups

These are the research groups I am currently involved with:

MultiMedia Signal Processing Group (MMSPG)

The MMSP is a group composed by me and the students who are working under my supervision (undergraduates, master, and doctorade). We are engaged in advanced research in several areas of multimedia signal processing and communications, focusing on video quality, watermarking, visual attention, QoS, etc.

LISA (Laboratory of Images Signals and Audio)

The LISA is formed by faculty from the Computer Science Department, who are engaged in advanced research in several areas of signal processing, such as, audio and sound processing, image and video processing, and computer vision.

DVIP (Digital Image and Video Processing) Group

The DVIP group is formed by researchers from the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Departments. It focuses mainly on research in the area of video and image processing.
